LEGEND OR MAN ?Known by the Pacific Northwestern American Native Peoples to be ''just the other tribe.'' The 7- 10 foot tall biped cohabited the forest for centuries with Indigenous villages. Existing as the most elusive tribe on the face of the earth.
Weighing in at 700-1000 lbs. and covered with hair, these elusive human like giants of the forest live without what we call ''basic necessities.'' Clothing, tools are unknown to their needs. Needs are simple, food - rest and the nomadic life. Leaving nothing but brief sightings and footprints.

This strange wanderer of the forest and shorelines, conjures up ideas of what this animal is supposed to be. We at SASQUATCH EXPLORATIONS don't say what it is but that it walks out there and leaves footprints and the occasional sightings.
The ones who see the biped are amazed at the likeness to humans and are less likely to come out and talk about their experience.

Your guide is well versed in the legend and tales of "Harry" and shares years of gathering information and tales. So spend a few days in the high alpine and wander as the SASQUATCH among the forest splendour.

Backpacking on a Budget with a Guide
Our favourite. This is the one where any where goes. We set off each carrying our own needs and the destination is usually 3-4 days away. We will take you through the wilderness following trails, going off trail and seeing some of the isolation that South-eastern British Columbia has to offer. Bring hammocks, for some of the locations chosen for night time, flat ground is not available. We search Sasquatch Country and explore all the locations around our neighbourhood where this elusive biped walks. Exploring hot springs, mining trails or ridge walking, the difference in this tour is that we don't offer any thing more than the guides, one per four guests. Food selection put together by us to ensure top nutritional replacement. We do not rock climb or enter caves. This is a tour for walking and seeing and experiencing the wilderness with a guide, someone who knows where you are. Tours vary in length but best over 5 days. Equipment list provided by Sasquatch Explorations. One must have backcountry hiked for this one but is an excellent way to lengthen your backcountry experience. Novice to intermediate. This tour is $100.00 CDN per day, only meals supplied.
We go out anytime, full moon is the best. Winter is out because of the nomadic lifestyle of Harry takes them away from the Deep Snow. From April thru October
